SIS Kelapa Gading – Managing Emotions during a Pandemic
The pandemic situation affects all of us in different ways. As parents, it is normal to feel uneasy or nervous about the uncertainties in this situation. However, how we respond to pain, fear, anger, sadness and grief affect people around us, especially our children. They observe and learn from us about how to deal with difficult situations. Our first parenting webinar series this July talked about how to manage our emotions in time of crisis. The ability to identify emotions is the first step before we are able to manage them. We also learnt some strategies and practical techniques to regulate our emotions and not let them overwhelm us.
