Scholarships may be awarded to new (external) students applying for any grade level from Secondary 1 (Grade 7 \/ SMP1) to Junior College 2 (Grade 12 \/ SMA3). Scholarships may be maintained in the following year simply by maintaining an \u201cA\u201d (or equivalent) in English, Math and Science subjects and remaining a student in good standing. Existing scholarship students may apply for a new scholarship after their previous scholarship has finished.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently enrolled students are only eligible for new scholarships into Secondary 1 and Junior College 1. Therefore, current Primary 6 and Secondary 4 students will automatically be tested and they do not need to register online or provide past reports.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship, students must have received an \u201cA\u201d grade (or equivalent) in English, Math and Science subjects for the previous 2 years in their current school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Benefit<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scholarships will be based on a percentage reduction in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuition Fees<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of up to 100% depending on the score in the scholarship test and interview. All other applicable registration, development and exam fees must still be paid in full by the usual dates and scholarships do not include any other charges such as uniforms, field trips or learning journeys.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Award<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants will sit for a scholarship test and attend an interview. The scholarship test is a general test of English and Math worth 80% and the interview covers speaking ability and attitude and is allocated a score worth 20%. Applicants with the highest scores are offered a scholarship until all available scholarships for the year are exhausted. The amount of the scholarship for each student offered depends on their total score.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply online at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScFB_T9tr0b9-yY-oWOKhWUK7EWjHNsWXjxk1pFTK7RySLTrw\/viewform\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.sisschools.org\/sis-kg<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at least 24 hours prior to a test date.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are eligible, you will be contacted to confirm your attendance on a certain date for a scholarship test (if you do not hear from us, call +62 8111 77 353 to confirm) and you will be sent the scholarship rules and regulations document.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the test date:<\/span>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A parent or legal guardian is required to attend<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must bring original or certified copies of school reports for the past three years<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bring a scientific calculator and pen or pencil<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarship test:<\/span>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Covers challenging writing, reading and math questions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does not necessarily relate to any particular curriculum<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Includes a short essay (in English)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Takes between 3.5 and 4 hours depending on the age level<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allows calculators for some sections (scientific calculators are recommended for Sec 3 \/ SMP3 \/ Grade 9 and above)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is in English (dictionaries or translators are not permitted)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no charge to sit for the test.
