This month, our focus is on two important values: Respect and Integrity. Our students explored what it means to show respect by treating others with care and making them feel valued. They are also learning about integrity which means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. It is about being honest, responsible, and kind, not because we have to, but because it is the right thing to do.

When combined, Respect and Integrity form a powerful partnership. Together, they mean treating others with kindness and fairness even when no one is there to see it.

Living Our Values Every Day

At SIS Medan, these values are not just taught but practiced. Every day, our students demonstrate Respect and Integrity in small but meaningful ways.

When someone finds a lost toy or money on the floor, they turn it into the lost and found, knowing that someone else is missing it. These simple actions reflect a deep understanding of honesty, empathy, and responsibility.

Learning Through Action Beach Clean Up Initiative

Our Junior College students recently took part in a beach clean up activity as part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.
Together, they collected and removed several kilograms of plastic waste, which were then responsibly handed over to the local beach administration.

This meaningful activity not only helped restore the beauty of the beach but also raised awareness about the importance of reducing plastic waste and protecting marine life. It was an inspiring example of putting learning into action while contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
