Nikita Mawarni – The Voice Kids Sensation

Nikita Mawarni, a Secondary 2 (Grade 8) student at SIS Medan, wowed the judges of The Voice Kids Indonesia with her performance of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”. Her smooth, powerful rendition of this timeless classic highlighted her amazing vocal talent. Isyana Sarasvati, a judge on the show said “It’s like watching a concert,” while fellow judge and coach Yura Yunita described her voice as “Crazy!”

Nikita is a jazz fanatic and hopes to bring something different to the competition and has a few more surprises in store for judges and viewers as she moves forward to the battle rounds and live shows. She plans to study music when she completes her high school education and her dream is to perform live at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Through music she hopes to lift the spirit of others and bring happiness and hope to everyone through song.
