At SIS Palembang, we believe that a safe and supportive environment is the foundation for meaningful learning. On 28 August 2025, we were honored to welcome the local police department as part of the “POLRI Goes to School” Anti-Bullying Campaign. This important initiative gave our students the opportunity to learn directly from law enforcement officers about what bullying is, how it affects others, and the many ways we can work together to prevent it.

The session was designed not only to raise awareness but also to empower our students. Through engaging discussions and interactive games, students discovered the importance of building positive friendships, showing respect, and practicing empathy in their daily lives. What made the day even more special was seeing our senior students step up as masters of ceremony, demonstrating leadership, confidence, and the spirit of togetherness that we value so highly at SIS Palembang.

This event is part of our school’s continuous anti-bullying campaign. At SIS Palembang, child protection is a priority. We consistently create programs and initiatives to ensure our students feel safe, supported, and valued. By working hand in hand with community partners such as the police, we reinforce the message that bullying has no place in our school. More importantly, we empower our students to be agents of kindness and to stand up for what is right.
