6 students represented SIS South Jakarta at the World Scholar’s Cup regional round on 28th & 29th August 2022.

The World Scholar’s Cup pits students against other schools in team debates, a scholar’s challenge in a diverse range of subjects, collaborative writing, and a team scholar’s bowl.  More than 80 teams from 15 different schools around Indonesia competed in this challenging event.

SIS South Jakarta students performed exceptionally well, winning numerous medals and qualifying for the global rounds in South Africa and Vietnam.

We congratulate Justin, Darren and Ammara from Sec 1 for collectively winning the Scholars bowl Team Silver, with Justin winning individual Gold in the debate. Shafiyyah, Cayla and Nikita won Gold in Science, Davinci and Debate respectively.
