SIS Wins Award in London
Singapore International School Group Indonesia (SIS Group) won the Transformational Business Award at the sixth meeting of The Financial Times and The International Finance Corporation (World Bank) in London, England. The awards are for the categories of education, knowledge and skills.
The award received by SIS Gruop on Wednesday (August 7, 2019) last week was after successfully surpassing 6 other candidates. The SIS Group is considered to have a unique ecosystem that encourages vertical collaboration among stakeholders, including ways to save costs, innovative teaching, and various choices of educational costs.
“Our vision inspires students to reach higher levels by sparking their curiosity and inquiry while developing 21st century values and skills. SIS Group Indonesia has seven private schools with Singapore, Cambridge, and IB curricula. Jaspal said that this award would be a long-term solution in facing development challenges that focus on the role of the private sector in global efforts to address climate change, achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs), and alleviate poverty, especially in areas that are vulnerable and affected by conflict.
