Celebrating Educational Excellence at SIS

At SIS, we are proud to share a recent accomplishment that reflects our commitment to fostering growth, supporting professional development, and championing a culture of excellence. One of our own, Miss Jennifer Bantigue-Angeles, the Academic Program Manager, Head of the English Bridging Program and Active Learning Trainor for SIS Group of Schools, was awarded the very first Educational Leadership Award at the National Educational Convention Awards Night hosted by SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) on October 10th, 2024. This honor shines a light not just on Jennifer’s achievements, but on the supportive environment cultivate here at SIS — one that values dedication, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence at every level.

Jennifer’s journey with SIS exemplifies the growth potential we aim to support in all our educators. She joined us in 2020, bringing fresh ideas, unwavering commitment, and a genuine passion for student success. Her impact on students and colleagues alike led to her promotion as Head Teacher in her second year with SIS. In this role, she not only led her team with integrity and vision but also set a new standard for academic performance and community engagement, helping to expand SIS Cilegon’s enrollment by over 150% within just three years under her leadership. Her ongoing commitment and outstanding results led her to her current role, where she now supports academic initiatives and trains our teachers on transformative pedagogy across our network of schools, impacting the lives of students and staff at every level.

Jennifer’s story is also a testament to our values at SIS, where we believe in giving educators the tools and opportunities to excel and make a difference. This award—just one of the many acknowledgements she has received, including nominations for Head Teacher of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Education —  illustrates what can be achieved when talent meets a nurturing and empowering work environment. Jennifer’s achievements reflect the support of her colleagues, our leadership team, and our entire school community.
