Recently, our team of inspiring leaders represented SIS at the prestigious EduTECH Asia 2024 in Singapore, sharing impactful strategies, our vision for the future of education on a global stage. and a powerful example on the global stage.

Our founder, Jaspal Sidhu, led a key roundtable discussion with global school leaders, highlighting how visionary leadership is essential for lasting educational impact on students, teachers, and communities. In another notable session, Ryan Krause, Deputy Director of Operations, participated in a panel discussion on fostering cultural change and stakeholder buy-in for digital transformation. He shared his values-driven approach, fostering a human-centered, trust-based environment by clearly articulating the purpose behind each step, aiming to empower the SIS community to engage responsibly and meaningfully with digital advancements. Jennifer Angeles, Academic Program Manager, showcased her expertise on the importance of supporting educators through intentional professional development, emphasizing how regular, targeted training keeps teachers current and equipped to deliver high-quality education. She also joined a panel on educator well-being, reinforcing our commitment to supporting teachers for stronger student outcomes. Daniel Hyde, Head of School at SIS-PIK, shared insights on aligning skills assessments with real-world scenarios, with particular reference to the vocational BTEC programme, and spoke on the need to use accountability systems in a way that builds trust and improves practice. Our junior leaders also shined, with Sweta Sewak, Deputy Head of Secondary and JC at SJ Campus, presenting on using reflective practice to guide learning interventions. Her session emphasized how understanding students’ goals and motivations through reflection enables tailored instruction and supports student growth by building confidence and independence.
